Crisis HR Consulting – Layoff Management

We’ve had overwhelming demand for support with delicately and effectively handling layoffs. It’s not easy. So we decided to put together something to make it easier for you and for us to support you effectively – a crisis layoff support service. We are equipped with HR expertise and knowledge and are ready to assist you and your team in these tough times.

Key Benefits

  • Preparation of termination letters – including a termination letter template
  • Reviewing employee contracts for completeness and consistency with Employment Standards Act
  • Guidance on how to communicate about the layoff with affected employees and the remaining team members
Supporting Employees’ Transition
  • Ensuring people get what they need – issuing records of employment (ROEs) or determining appropriate termination codes, employment insurance (EI) eligibility check, questions answered
  • Consulting on final payroll runs and calculations (vacation pay, stat pay, termination/severance pay, etc.)
Guiding Business Through Change
  • Providing answers to HR-related questions
  • Helping with the return of employees after this all is a distant memory

Our Service Offer

We provide a transparent price structure for a complicated situation:

$1000 + $75/employee
$500 + $50/employee

This includes two comprehensive working sessions with our HR practice manager plus all the heavy lifting described above.

We’re not likely to profit from this. If we do, a portion of fees will be donated to COVID relief funds.
