Title: Marketing Manager
What did you study?: I graduated with a Masters in Marketing.
If you could travel to one city where would you go and why?: I want to travel everywhere! Also, Casablanca, Morocco because I grew up there.
What did you want to be when you were a child?: A Baker.
What activity do you like to do in your spare time?: Photography.
What book are you reading/ show are you watching right now?: Watching Game of Thrones, obviously.
Who is your inspiration?: I don’t have just one person, I just admire what people are doing in the world and I take inspiration from that.
What is your favourite thing to do in Vancouver?: Taking pictures, Lighthouse park is a favourite place of mine.
If you could have coffee with one person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?: Someone who lived in the Roman Empire era, a non-famous person who I could ask questions about what is was like for a commoner.
What subject was your favourite subject in school?: Geology, everyone else hated it, and I was the only person who liked it.
Can you explain quickly what your job is all about?: I have two things; I handle all of the Entreflow marketing strategies so people know who we are and what we offer. The other part being offering marketing services to clients by defining a strategy for them and then implementing it, tailor specific to their industry.
What do you love about your job?: It’s never boring, I’m working for different industries and I can jump from one area to another with different needs. I’m never doing the same thing twice, which I like. Plus the team is great!
What tips would you give to small business owners to reach success?: Don’t do what others are doing just because they are successful, do what’s best for you.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?: Learn more about photography. There’s always more to learn!
Guilty pleasure?: Chocolate. All of it.
Secret talent that no-one knows about?: I performed at a music festival in France in a costume in front of 50k people. That takes courage, not quite a talent but definitely something that not a lot of people know about me!
What do you like most about Entreflow?: The culture of the company and the people we are working with allows everyone to share ideas and there isn’t a strict hierarchical feeling. Everyone can freely share ideas and everyone is listened to, it’s an active discussion.
What do you like most about working with startups and small businesses?: It’s inspiring that so many people are launching businesses. They have these big ideas and I get to support them. You get to step into their shoes for a bit and experience their creativity first hand.
A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here?: “I’m going to a costume party, do you want to join?”
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?: I was at a bakery on Orca Island, eating, and the baker had an accent, I was wondering where he was from. Usually if it’s a baker, they are French. When I asked, they said they were from Wisconsin, but they accent made me think they were foreign. A little more awkward than funny.
